May 2011: Betty is a strong leader. She is a good big sister to Atayo Esther, who is in Primary 6 at CUS. She is confident and the other girls seem to look to her for guidance. She attends Luzira Secondary School where she loves geography and wants to be an accountant. This month she was able to take part in a field trip to the Nile River- the first time she had seen it! We took a bus to Jinja and went on a boat tour. Betty just finished her exams at Luzira, which she studied hard for and did well. Both Betty and her younger sister Esther seem to be the kids that are liked by everyone! Many people say that these 2 girls are their best friends.
